Greetings,

Our school year is well under way at St. Bernard's!  We have lots of activity happening already.  Our Flag Football Team is having their last tryout tomorrow morning, the cross country team is ready to go, our Parent Council is meeting this Wednesday and the Book Fair is being delivered this week! 

We are also having our Emergency Preparedness Week this week.  We are required by law to practice emergency drills within the schools. We will take the time this week to practice fire drills, lock down and hold and secure procedures, and severe weather routines.  These will all be familiar to our students except for our Year 1 Kindergarten children.  Our staff will take the time to answer questions and discuss the students' concerns in an age appropriate manner.  Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

I have heard from our Wendy's Restaurant Representative and they are unable to accommodate us until October.  I will confirm the date as soon as possible.
