Daycare Construction Begins: April 8, 2019

As you may already have heard, the Ministry of Education has allocated our Board money for a daycare addition to St. Bernard's Catholic School. Construction will begin next week, with completion targeted for the end of November 2019.
Some changes will need to be put in place to ensure student safety.
Drop-off will not change. Mrs. Grimes', Mrs. Whitwell's and Mr. White's classes will still enter the school through the Kindergarten yard. Other students will only be able to access the back of the school from the front right side of the school. Since the addition will be behind the Kindergarten fenced area, fencing will block students from entering the backyard from the left side of the school (beside the Kindergarten fenced yard).
The company doing the construction has worked on many school additions and puts student safety as priority one.
