Saturated ground conditions combined with the forecasted five (5) day rainfall amounts will also result in increased stream flows.  While widespread flooding is not expected, the possibility of flooding in various low lying areas of the watershed exists.

All watercourses will be flowing higher than normal causing local streams and rivers to become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts and bridges.  Please exercise extreme caution around all bodies of water. Please alert any children under your care of these dangerous conditions and supervise their activities.

This Flood Watch will be in effect through Monday May 8, 2017.

Please be advised that this statement may be updated if conditions change.
